Hello there lovelies!

Hope you're having a smashing week so far.

Ready to daydream about your weekend off and wonder what you will do with it.

We have some ideas for you.

This Wanderlust Wednesday, we decided to explore our very own city, Sydney!

One might say that we live here, we have seen it all, blah blah, but is that really the case.

Have we really seen it all or are there some unexplored beauties, waiting to be discovered by some enthusiastic explorer?

So come revisit Sydney in this Wanderlust Wednesday edition with us!

The Sydney Opera House:

Although touristy, the Sydney Opera House is one iconic building and if you are visiting Sydney, or even reside in the city, it must be visited at least once! There are many things to do inside the opera house. You could catch a performance by one of the many artists, take the Sydney Opera house tour or the Backstage tour. Enjoy a drink at the Opera bar or a nice meal at the Opera house. Visit http://www.sydneyoperahouse.com/ for all the information you might need on this iconic building.

The Sydney Harbour Bridge:

Another historic icon of Sydney, another place you definitely must see! The bridge holds many distinctions and is the world's widest long-span bridge. The steel archway has been a part of Sydney since time immemorial. When you plan a visit to the bridge, you must do the Bridge Climb. After 3 odd hours of climbing, you reach the top and the view is stunning! There is also the Pylon lookout where you can enjoy the sights and maybe grab a cup of coffee. For more info on the bridge climb, visit http://www.bridgeclimb.com/

Camp Cove:

If you want the sun, sands and the sea but want to avoid the large crowds at Bondi Beach (which you must visit at least once in all its grandeur!) then Camp Cove in Watsons Bay is the place you should go to. A suburb with ancient homes and waters as clear as they can get, Camp cove is a small, secluded beach that you can spend your day at and relax with the calming sound of the waves. It is a short walk from the Watsons Bay ferry wharf and you can take the ferry from Circular Quay to Watsons Bay and then walk the 10 minute walk to reach the beaches.

Ride a bike around Sydney:

Bikes are available for hire at Centennial Park and you can even join the various Bike tours running around the city and make new friends while you're at it! More details on here http://www.cyclehire.com.au/

The Royal Botanic Gardens:

If you're a fan of nature and love looking at flowers in all their splendor, then do not miss the Royal Botanical Gardens. There are various tours (free and paid) that you can join or even explore the park on your own. You can read up more on the Botanical Gardens here http://www.rbgsyd.nsw.gov.au/

Bonus Tip – Sydney Explorer:

The Sydney Explorer is a tour bus of sorts which will take you around all the major destinations in Sydney. A red colored bus, it can be taken from Sydney's Circular Quay and the ticket prices are pretty nominal. They are quite regular so if you want to stay longer at a particular tourist spot, you can hop off it and take the next Explorer bus. More information on the Sydney Explorer here http://www.city-sightseeing.com/tours/australia/sydney.htm

That's it folks!

Until then, Happy Travelling :)
