“Legacy is not leaving something for people. It's leaving something in people”

These words could not have been truer for a brand that has carved out a niche for itself, standing out like no other brand, since 1884. Known all over the world as the one and only inventor of the highly useful and versatile Swiss army knife, Victorinox is a brand that has an unmatched legacy. People from all over the world, from all walks of life have used or owned the iconic Swiss army knife at some point in their lives. Although the Swiss army knife is one of the most loved of Victorinox's products, its not the only one. Their luggage is equally known for, like the knife, for its durability and usability. People from all over the world can narrate special stories and anecdotes on how their Victorinox suitcase helped them, in more ways than one.

It all started when Karl Elsener opened his own business of cutlery in 1884, and then later began manufacturing knives big time by selling them to the Swiss army and then becoming the official supplier of knives for the Swiss army. It was then that their knives became famous all over the world. For about a century, Victorinox kept on manufacturing knives, maintaining the high Swiss quality that they were known for. In 1999 a travel gear line was developed to enhance the strength of the brand. To maintain their standard and reputation as a manufacturer that makes only the best quality products, this travel gear was and still is manufactured under strict quality-control operations to ensure that only the best of the best products reach the consumer.

With such dedication toward the quality of their products, and passion to be the best in the world, Victorinox has maintained a legacy like no other.

And The Luggage Professionals is proud to be associated with this brand.
